How it works
Register
Use the web-based form to submit a list of the books you'd like to rent to other students. We also encourage all of our Affiliates set up a Paypal Account registration for faster access to their funds.
Customers Rent Your Books
Knapsac.com makes renting your books to other students easy. We use Paypal processing which helps customers make quick, easy, worry-free purchases.
You Ship Items To Customers
Knapsac notifies you by email when an order has been placed. In this email you will also find prepaid shipping labels, shipping method, and the due date for your rentals. All that's left for to do is packing and shipping your items to the customer.
Knapsac Transfers Payments To You
Knapsac deposits payment into your Paypal account, and sends you and email notifying you that you've been paid. You may also opt to receive a check in the mail. Please keep in mind that it may take 5-7 business days from the time funds are released to receive a check by mail.
Books Returned to You
Your books should be returned to you on or before the due date. We ask that you submit a rental return report at the end of each rental cycle 24 hours after the due date. At this time you should make us aware of any damages or late returns. Please be aware theat current market value of property will be transferred into your account on file in the event of loss/destruction.

At Knapsac customer experience is our top priority. As a Knapsac Affiliate you are a member of our team, and we ask that you put our customers first also. Be honest about the condition of your books. Ship products on time. Uphold Knapsac privacy policy. Give customers the experience that Knapsac and all Knapsac Affiliates must provide to maintain a safe and trusted online rental environment. By doing so, customers will become repeat renters, rave to their friends, and in turn you'll make more money.

√ Items Meet Knapsac Requirements
Make sure your Books meet Knapsac Requirements Knapsac customers expect to receive their products in good condition. As such, Knapsac does not rent books that are torn, excessively written/highlighted in, water damaged, burned, or dirty. All calculators, clickers, kits, lab goggles, timers, and other educational equipment rented through Knapsac must have fully charged batteries and all their necessary parts. Be honest about the condition of your items and keep in mind that customer reviews will be collected at the end of the rental period.
√ Handle Returns and Refunds Gracefully
No one looks forward to taking returns and making refunds (we are no exception), but it is a part of retailing and a requirement of the Knapsac sales process. Knapsac will release payments after 10 days. This is the amount of time a customer has to return a book in exchange for a full refund. If a book is returned to you please notify us immediately so that we may relist your book(s) as soon as possible.
√ Monitor Performance and Metrics
Your performance is a major component to maintaining Affiliate status. We review all customer surveys and feedback, chargebacks, order cancellations and refunds, late shipping and policy compliance. These metrics are intended to maximize your opportunity to make money as well as preserve the excellent level of customer service provided to our customers.
√ Spread The Word About Knapsac
Telling your friends about the affiliate program or simply about renting from Knapsac will majorly pay off. When you refer people to Knapsac and they use the service you get lover affiliate fees and bonuses. For more information review the Referral Rewards document.

χ Register for Multiple Affiliate Accounts
When registering, you will be creating a single affiliate account. Attempting to open multiple accounts is prohibited.
χ Divert Customers
Do not include URLs or advertisements with your shipment/contact with customer, and do not hyperlink to your site from any part of the process.
χ Market to Customers
Your company must not market or advertise to Knapsac customers, nor divert them in any way from the Knapsac processes-not even in otherwise permitted communications. Make sure everyone on your team, from marketing to fulfillment, is aware of these requirements.
χ Bribe Customers for Positive Feedback
Bribing customers for positive feedback or to remove negative feedback is not permitted.

Q: How do I know what products are renting the best?
A: At the end of each semester Knapsc will email all Affiliates a list of the most rented products. You may use this to determine what books you would like to list or remove from Knapsac listings.
Q: What products can I rent?
A: We rent textbooks, supplements, kits, clickers, calculators, goggles, locks, and other educational equipment/tools. If you do not see your particular product in our catalog feel free to request that it be added by contacting admin@knapsac.com.
Q: Do you offer fraud protection?

Q: How does a customer's use of discounts and gift cards affect me?
A: A customer's use of a discount or gift card will not affect your rental fee. Knapsac will still transfer the original rental rate to you account.
